The RAM Roping Tour
We are excited to announce in partnership with RAM, the creation of the NEW RAM Roping Tour in Ontario. We have created this to help promote and develop the sport of roping in Ontario. We wish to attract new competitors and build skills while providing a competitive opportunity to ropers. This tour will consist of roping’s to include the events of Team Roping, Breakaway and Tie Down and will be featured at selected RAM Rodeo Tour events as well as other venues working with Ontario stock contractors. The Build-a-Cowboy program will also expand to host roping clinics in Ontario to support the RAM Roping Tour and promote growth to new ropers.
Stock Contractors
Currently Ontario stock contractors, Santos Debartolo (Molinaro Ranch) and Jeff Hickey (UpCountry Farms) will work together to provide a good pen of cattle. Their knowledge and caring means that RAM Roping Tour will have great stock for all the ropers. All monies will stay in Ontario as this is designed to build Ontario's tradition.
Format
Team Roping: Pick 2 partners - Draw 2 partners which will allow ropers to compete with their desired partners while also allowing new competitors to partner with experienced ropers. (3 head progressive)
Tie Down: 2 head average
Break a way: 2 head average
